THIS IS NOT AN H1- B OPPORTUNITY ResponsibilitiesThis position will serve as a Physician's Assistant for the Division of Pediatric Allergy, Immunology and Rheumatology (AIR). This is an exciting opportunity to become specialized in an in-demand and impactful field. As we are in a busy allergy area in Northern California, we have many patients who have diseases which are caused by their sensitivities: rhinitis, asthma, sting reactions, and dermatitis. We are looking for a practitioner who is interested both in patient care to help us manage these ongoing issues, as well as in program development to help us to establish and expand an allergy immunotherapy (allergy shots) program. They will also coordinate with other specialties, including Pulmonary and ENT, to guide patients to the most appropriate treatment plans. This opportunity may have the option to have a 20% teaching position through the UCD PA program as well. Required Qualifications
Valid Physician Assistant license to practice under the Physician Assistant's Act in the State of California.
Master's Degree and Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
DEA certificate if prescribing controlled substances.
National certification as a physicians' assistant
