Medical Lab Scientist II, Pathology, Core Lab – (North Hospital) – Full-Time Night

As a Medical Laboratory Scientist II, you will perform routine and specialized laboratory tests and other procedures for use in the diagnosis and treatment of diseases. You will be responsible for utilizing requisite equipment, instruments and computer systems. You will also evaluate and report patient results using considerable independent judgement within the scope of established testing methods. Additional responsibility in this role is training new employees and/or students in the theoretical and operational aspects of procedures and serving as a resource for less experienced staff.

2 Years Clinical – Clinical Laboratory – Moderate and High Complexity Testing Required
Bachelor’s Degree Clinical Laboratory Science Or Medical Technology Required Or Associate’s degree Medical Laboratory Technology Or Bachelor’s Degree Related Field Required
American Society for Clinical Pathology Or National Credentialing Agency for Laboratory Personnel Certification Required
Hours of Work: Monday – Thursday 9:00pm – 7:00am, Monday – Friday 11:00pm – 7:00am As Needed
Weekend Requirements: As Needed
