The Biology department of Westmont College in Santa Barbara, CA, invites applications for a one-semester (January 2nd, 2020-May 15th, 2020), full-time teaching position in a vibrant department with inquisitive and talented undergraduate students. An earned Ph.D. at the time of appointment is required. Teaching load will consist of 2 sections of General Biology I lecture and 2-3 sections of lab. General Biology I covers cellular biology, genetics, and basic plant biology. The position is benefits-eligible. Renewal for another semester or year is a possibility but not guaranteed.
