Job Summary The University of Colorado Department of Radiology is seeking a full-time faculty member to join its Abdominal Imaging Section at the rank of Assistant, Associate or full Professor, depending on experience. The Radiology Department is a rapidly growing sub-specialized department with a strong commitment to excellence in Education, Clinical Care and Research. The Department of Radiology has more than 90 faculty members, including physician assistants and imaging scientists, as well as a robust and growing training program with 38 residents and 13 fellows. 95% of the faculty are in an academic track, and the department provides a dedicated research infrastructure including a grants manager, study coordinators, and statistician support. The successful recruit will be required to participate in all aspects of our clinical practice, including MR, CT, US, and GI/GU imaging,and to excel in one or more of our other primary missions; education, research, and service. Participation and collaboration with our clinical colleagues through interdisciplinary conferences is an ongoing and important part of our work. The Department of Radiology is known for excellent fellow, resident and medical student education, and active participation is expected.
Medical Degree or equivalent, ability to obtain a Colorado Medical License, ABR Certification, Fellowship Training.
Competency is required in the performance of abdominal imaging.
