With substantial capital funding in place, this early-stage detection and diagnostics company has a patented, ultra-sensitive technology that measures extraordinarily low levels of complex molecules in breath. The Chief Scientific Officer will be an integral part of the Executive Management Team, report to the CEO, and define and develop the evolution of new product strategy.
The position requires an MD and/or PhD in immunology, biochemistry, or related field(s), plus at least 10 years’ experience developing biomarkers and/or diagnostic tests. Working with the CEO in defining the evolution of research to enable the selection of new applications in the biomarker and diagnostics markets, you will be responsible for leading internal and external resources in selecting, prioritizing, and creatively leveraging complex technologies into successful new product concepts.
