Work with one of the premier IT support organizations in the country to provide comprehensive, multi-tiered IT computing solutions to users and IT systems affiliated with Notre Dame International. IT Solutions Consultants provide all aspects of technical support & solution delivery to their assigned partner area. The incumbent will be responsible for regular consultative engagement with the Notre Dame International user community. Key Responsibilities:
>End-User, Workgroup and Department-level Support
Provide second tier, on-site response and resolution of single or multiple end-user issues in a timely manner, escalating more complex issues to senior technologists. >Consultation, Solution Development and Project Management
Assist users in developing or enhancing solutions which involve the functionality of standard software tools. Recognize requests for work outside the scope of repair or reasonable how-to assistance and react to such by performing a functional needs assessment/consultation, scope of work, and estimation of required resources to complete. >Implement & Support Division Specific IT Solutions
Collaborate with partner area and other OIT departments as needed to design, develop, test, deploy, and support technical service, system, or solution. 3 4 years general IT Support experience
Experience with managed desktop environments and reporting tools
Strong knowledge and user skill level in multiple commonplace application products
Experience with project management tools & practice
Ability to form collaborative relationships with internal and external partners
Ability to perform under stress to meet customer demands and able to set priorities to self-manage day to day activities with minimal supervision
Professional demeanor and desire to assist others with various levels of computer skill, experience, and needs
Experience working in Higher Education
Industry recognized certifications in desktop management or project management
Experience supporting Terra Dotta and Sunapsis
Experience supporting international locations
