Postdoctoral Associate, Language Technologies Institute-2014140
The Language Technologies Institute is seeking a Postdoctoral Research Associate to work in the areas of data science, applied natural language processing, applied machine learning, and applied statistics and data analysis.
Your core responsibilities will include:
Lead experiment design;
Mentor master's level students throughout their capstone projects;
Engage in research on various interdisciplinary data science projects;
Internally collaborate with and consult for other individuals, projects, and groups at CMU;
Engage in LTI's academic life including maintaining external relations and collaborations, organizing events, and hosting visitors.
PhD in computer science or a related field;
Experience with a broad spectrum of languages, tools, and datasets;
Ability to review code and supervise;
Ability to quickly learn new tools and adapt to new technologies.
