This job is the Lead CT Technologist at the Chandler campus. The person in this position is required to meet all Job Responsibilities of a regular CT Technologist, as well as additional duties in a peer leadership capacity to facilitate operations.
Leadership duties include, but are not limited to, performing QA of imaging, directing resources throughout the day, ensuring compliance for policies and procedures in daily operations, working with manager to implement process changes and quality improvement initiatives, serving as a resource for Radiology faculty communication, and other duties as assigned.
Leadership skills, critical thinking, time management, attention to detail, high-touch patient experience, maintain composure in high stress environment, excellent communicator, flexible, ability to work in a teaching environment, managing competing priorities, radiation safety, and knowledge of CT image quality and production.

Required Related Experience:
Required License/Registration/Certification :
ARRT and Kentucky State Radiation Operators License. CT certification obtained within one year of hire date
Associate's degree plus four or more years related experience in academic medical center CT department, Cardiac CT, Adult and Pediatric patient care experience, Level 1 trauma experience preferred. Experience leading or managing a CT unit preferred.
