REDEEMER UNIVERSITY COLLEGE invites applications for either a sessional or tenure-track faculty position (any rank) in the Department of Biology, preferably beginning July 1, 2020. We are seeking an applicant with an academic background in ecology, plant biology, and/or conservation biology and an ability to teach introductory biology, ecology, and plant biology courses. The ability to teach a science course for non-science majors would be an asset. The department has an ongoing relationship with A Rocha (Ontario) and there are opportunities for research partnerships with A Rocha. As a liberal arts and sciences university college rooted in the Reformed tradition of Christianity, we seek candidates who are committed to teaching and pursuing scholarship from this perspective. The preferred candidate would possess or be near completion of a Ph.D.
