Healthline Media is seeking a Research Analyst, a newly created position, to join the Consumer Insights & Analytics team. We’re a new team dedicated to inspiring empathy and delivering actionable insights to every part of our organization. Ultimately, it will be our goal to ensure that Healthline’s health content and experiences connect authentically with users, empowering them to make healthy changes. We’re a collaborative, strategic, and inquisitive team that cares deeply about having a positive impact on the world.
As the team’s Research Analyst, you will be an essential part of this vision. You will support research initiatives through project management and data analysis, adding unique insight and interpretation to our findings. You will work closely with the VP of Consumer Insights to establish and maintain the Healthline Insights Hub, a source for all Healthline employees to access past research and submit new queries. You’ll own Healthline’s library of research use cases and best practices, continually improving our processes as we work to become a leading source of consumer health insights. This role is based in our San Francisco office and reports to the VP of Consumer Insights and Analytics.
What You’ll Do:
You'll support our senior researchers in quantitative study setup, execution and analysis.
Your analyses will find human stories in complex datasets, empowering Healthline to develop innovative solutions to user's health challenges.
You'll develop and manage Healthline's Insights Hub, answering incoming queries and giving employees agile access to user insights
Our team will maintain the highest standards of research quality thanks to your consistent documentation of vendors, new methodologies, best practices and use cases.

What We’re Looking For:
Proven data analysis chops, having a Bachelor’s degree in analytics or data science, specialized training and/or career experience delivering analyses of complex quantitative research outputs.
Strong working knowledge and application of analytics and communication tools such as Python, Advanced Excel, Tableau, or other methods. We want to hear how you’ve developed your skills and why.
Experience with completing data analysis projects on time and with careful consideration of stakeholder needs.
Ability to generate actionable insights from complex data sets and can explain the strategic impact of your work.
