Position Summary: Reporting to the Director of Client Services and the HAIS Lead Analyst, incumbent is responsible for day to day operations support for the Perioperative Department. Incumbent is responsible for support of the hardware and software environments which are critical for the day to day operations of these departments. This is an on site support position that will be expected to support the environment across all platforms including but not limited to, application support, hardware support and troubleshooting, network support and troubleshooting. Incumbent will also be responsible for assisting in the guidance of the department, from a technical level with new applications and technology initiatives.
Rate Minimum $74,300.00 Maximum $159,600.00
Required Qualifications: Ability to apply logical troubleshooting and analysis techniques for the purpose of problem resolutionAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the HealthSystemAbility to function as a project leader and project memberAbility to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workloadAbility to self initiate and effectively problem solve issuesAbility to work flexible hours, including nights and weekendsExcellent written and verbal communication skills in EnglishExperience implementing and supporting EMR or departmental systems in a hospital settingMust be willing to participate in 24 hour on-call rotations as a system duty officerMust demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the jobMust have working knowledge of client/server systems, relational database structures and reporting toolsMust possess a working knowledge of HL7 and other interface/integration strategiesMust possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned dutiesWorking knowledge of hospital clinical and/or department workflows
Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting IT needs for a patient care departmentExperience using / implementing / supporting the Allscripts (Eclipsys) Sunrise Clinical Manager and/or SIS Perioperative Information SystemKnowledge of University and medical center organizations, policies, procedures and formsProject Coordination / management experience
