Under the general supervision of the Associate Vice Chancellor of Administration/Financial Operations & Research Programs, the incumbent provides a complement of high-level analytical, financial and administrative services to units reporting to the Office of Research (OR) Coordinating Point. Incumbent is the primary contact for support for research units including, but not limited to, the Natural Reserve Systems (NRS), Facility for Imaging and Brain Research (FIBRE), Irvine Materials Research Institute (IMRI) as well as support for Organized Research Units (ORUs) and Special Research units including newly formed Provisional Organized Research Units (PrOrus).The incumbent analyzes and determines required actions for assigned administrative operational needs and for special projects and implements as appropriate.The University of California, Irvine is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer advancing inclusive excellence.
