JOB SUMMARY/ESSENTIALJOB FUNCTIONS: Under the Director of the Office of Clinical ResearchDevelopment (OCRD), this position works dually within OCRD (50%) and Nephrology(50%) to coordinate safety reports, Internal Review Board (IRB) submissions,clinical training for researchers, and a tracking program.
Oversees safety reporting for Nephrology of a variety of study-related adverse event reports.
Ensures the accurate and timely submission of protocol submissions, protocol/IRB amendments/revisions, and other documents.
Coordinates tracking and account requirements for clinical researcher training.
Serves as the primary training database manager for OCRD.
Assists with coordinating researcher training in UTHSC's Learning Management System.
Assists the Education Coordinator with on-site education and training sessions, as needed.
Assists developing needs assessment tools (e.g., survey instruments, checklists, etc.); collects and organizes its data to generate applicable reports.
Serves as back-up for the Study Coordinator in Nephrology, as needed.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
