You will be part of an exciting translational research initiative for Neurofibromatosis, a genetic disorder affecting 1 in 3000 people. You will work with the Director ofthe NF Research Initiative (NFRI) and the program manager to successfully implement two components of the NFRI: The Genomics of MPNST (GeM) Consortium and the MPNST Preclinical Research Grant program. This position offers an opportunity to expand on administrative skill sets and develop an understanding of interdisciplinary pre-clinical research in an academic medical center setting. This Administrative Associate II will be responsible for:
Maintaining and facilitate day-to-day operations of the Program.
Engaging in team meetings for strategy development and execution of the research program.
Tracking completion of action items, milestones, and deliverables of program.
Development of promotional materials (newsletters, information sheets, etc.) and maintenance of our website.
To qualify, you must have:
A high school level of educational development and three to six months of experience.
Previous administrative experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint).
Background in quantitative/analytical subjects.
2-year commitment to this position.
