The Biology Department at The University of the South seeks a physiologist for a tenure-track assistant professor position at one of the nation’s top liberal arts institutions. We seek candidates whose teaching and research interests center on anatomy and physiology.
Teaching responsibilities include laboratory courses in anatomy and physiology, regular participation departmental core courses, and other courses in the candidate’s area of specialty. The University has a 3/2 teaching load with both lecture and lab sections counting toward that total.
Candidates should be enthusiastic about teaching in the context of the liberal arts tradition in education and plan a research program with opportunities for undergraduate involvement.
