Position Summary: The Nurse Manager has 24/7 leadership responsibility for all clinical, staffing, quality, and financial management for the unit. Ensures an effective patient care delivery system that is compliant and consistent with standards of practice. Implements strategies, processes, and standards to ensure operations support the key organizational and departmental initiatives such as quality of care, patient safety, and patient satisfaction. Promotes collegial relationships between the unit and other departments or disciplines across the Medical Center.
Rate Minimum $102,300.00 Maximum $272,400.00
Required Qualifications: A minimum of 3 years nursing experience in NICU equivalent to a Regional or Community NICUAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the HealthSystemAbility to manage multiple concurrent projects and maintain a work pace appropriate to the workloadBachelor of Science in NursingBasic Life SupportKnowledge of Title 22 and Joint Commission RequirementsMaster's degree in a related field or certification in nursing or health care administration from a nationally recognized accrediting organizationMust demonstrate excellent customer service skillsNeonatal Resuscitation ProgramPrior management experience in an acute care settingRegistered NurseUnit specific nursing certification
