Postdoctoral Research Associate Position in the Adamson Lab in the Lewis-Sigler Institute for Integrative Genomics at Princeton UniversityThe Adamson lab in the Lewis-Sigler Institute for Integrative Genomics at Princeton University seeks applicants for a Postdoctoral Research Associate or more senior research position. The anticipated start-date is May 1st or later. Appointments are for one year, with possibility for renewal pending satisfactory performance and continued funding. The Adamson Lab uses systems biology to understand how human cells coordinate protective responses to stress and seeks to learn how changes to those responses promote and support disease. Current work in the lab is focused on mapping the genetic networks that enable growth of cancer cells and delineating those that, in normal cells, influence various methods of gene editing. We seek a motivated and collaborative individual to contribute to high-resolution functional genomic studies in these areas. Our work combines experimental and computational methods. Therefore, we are seeking candidates with expertise in cell biology, molecular biology, or computational biology. The successful candidate will design innovative experimental systems to generate large genomic datasets and will establish or use computational methods to analyze the generated data. The work will incorporate cutting-edge technologies, including CRISPR screens and single-cell RNA-seq. More information on the Adamson lab (research and publications) is available at https://www.badamsonlab.com/.Essential qualifications:- Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent doctoral degree in a related field.- Strong track record of productivity.Preferred qualifications:- Previous experience with CRISPR-Cas technologies and / or functional genomics is a plus. - Applications must be submitted online at: https://www.princeton.edu/acad-positions/position/11681.- Applications should include a curriculum vitae that includes a list of publications, a brief statement of research interests and goals, and the names and contact information for three references. These positions are subject to the University's background check policy.
