We are looking for a Lab Coordinator who will oversee all behavioral and neurophysiological experiments conducted in the Vision Center Laboratory at the Salk Institute for Biological Studies aimed at understanding the organization, functions and development of the primate visual system. The Lab Coordinator will supervise personnel, and ensure compliance with Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC), IRB, Biosafety, US Department of Agriculture, and Biosafety regulations.
Bachelorâ™s degree in biological sciences, life sciences or related field.
Must be willing to work in an animal-related research environment.
Must be willing to work an adjusted schedule to support research needs.
Successful completion of the Instituteâ™s background investigation.
This position requires constant sitting, analyzing, communicating, reasoning and working inside.
