Administrative Assistant II, Fellowship in Industry Program (Temporary, Part-Time)
Primary Purpose: The Fellowship in Industry Program at the Thomas J. Long School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (PHS) collaborates with Genentech and other biopharmaceutical industry to provide postdoctoral fellowship training for Doctor of Pharmacy graduates. Fellows engage in roles of clinical scientist at Genentech as well as research activities at PHS.
This is a temporary non-benefit eligible part-time position identified for funding through June 30, 2020.
Essential Functions: Responsible for supporting the programmatic needs, research activities, and administrative tasks of the Fellowship in Industry Program onsite at Travis region (Travis Air Force Base) and occasional onsite support in Stockton.
Strong ability and willingness to establish and maintain successful working relationships with students, staff, faculty, administrators, and external customers.
Ability to follow HIPAA and FERPA guidelines.
Attention to detail, integrity and ability to work with limited supervision is required.
Two (2) years of post-high school education.
Proficiency in the use of computer office software including word-processing, spreadsheet applications and mail merge functions.
Web content management.
PowerPoint or similar programs.
Ability to manage complex processes and procedures.
Ability to exercise initiative, prioritize effectively, follow through and meet deadlines while providing excellent service.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Ability to work both independently and in a group environment.
