Under the general supervision of the Director for the Veteran Services Center (VSC), the Assistant Director is responsible for the management and development of campus-wide programming that advances the visibility and knowledge of and assists in the transition of UCI's veteran community to civilian and college life.
The Assistant Director will serve as a certifying official for veteran education processing by maintaining certification of coursework on approximately 350 Federal Education Benefit recipients and 400 California Veterans Dependents Fee Waiver recipients.
The Assistant Director develops and implements the marketing strategy for the VSC, its programs, services, opportunities, and events.
The Assistant Director oversees the recruitment, hiring, training, and supervision of student staff, interns, and volunteers.

Salary: Annual $54,212.00 Total Hours: 8-5, M-F Career Position. Some evening and weekend programs. Final candidate subject to background check.
