The Department of Biology at Montclair State University invites applications for a tenure-track ASSISTANT PROFESSOR position in Computational Biology with an emphasis on Proteomics to start Fall 2020.Â Position responsibilities include teaching general biology, cell and molecular biology, physiology, and related courses and establishing a vigorous, extramurally funded research program involving undergraduate and graduate students.Â Additionally, the successful candidate should be able to support departmental programs such as the MS concentration in physiology and the MS in Molecular Biology. Â
A Ph.D. in Biology or a relevant field is required. A willingness to provide service to the Department, University and larger professional community is expected. Salary is dependent upon qualifications. Screening will begin immediately and will continue until the position is filled.
