Position Summary: The Program Manager plans, directs and coordinates the activities of a designated program or project to ensure the goals and objectives are accomplished within the prescribed timeframe and budget.
Direct and oversee all aspects of undergraduate events as well as student club and student council run events, including program development, logistics, correspondence, marketing and promotional activities
Plan, execute and implement innovative programs, including Orientation, Orientation Student Guides and student leader training
Develop and coordinate training for Orientation Student Guides
Develop undergraduate leadership, time management and communication skills

Facilitates undergraduate intercampus communication
Facilitates communication between students and staff
Develop, monitor and control budgets for all student programs
Review project proposals or plans to determine timeframe, funding limitations, procedures, staffing needs and allotment of available resources to various phases of a project
Establish work plans and staffing for each phase of a project
Prepare and distribute reports as well as analyze the data
Develop metrics to measure the success of the programs
Experience & Educational Background:
2-3 years of related experience is required
Skills & Competencies:
Advanced Microsoft office skills - Proficiency in Word, Excel, Publisher and Power Point
Capable in InDesign
Mac and PC proficient
Technologically competent (website CMS coding)
Ability to utilize Google forms, docs and spreadsheets
Excellent writing and organizational skills
Speaks clearly and expresses self well in one-on-one conversations and groups
Develops effective written communications and uses them appropriately
Develops effective relationships with peers, students and staff
Assumes responsibility to ensure issues/concerns will be addressed and monitors them through conclusion
Effectively manages own time and resources
