Compensation: Starting at $2,561.81 per month working 30 hours per week (range 07, step 1).
Benefits: A full benefits package which includes employer-paid medical, dental, and vision plans for employee and dependents; $100,000 employee life insurance; other optional coverages; and membership in the California Public Employees Retirement System (CalPERS).
Position Details: One regular, part-time position, 30 hours per week, 12 months per year on the Oceanside campus. The work schedule will be Monday through Friday, 5:30 am - 12:00 pm. The person selected for this position will be subject to assignment to any district facility during any hours of operation.
Basic Function: Under direct supervision, remove and dispose of solid waste refuse from all outdoor receptacles and select indoor receptacles; collect and sort recyclable materials and prepare for pickup; assist Gardener/Groundskeeper as needed and perform a variety of grounds maintenance duties and operate associated equipment and machinery; assist with event setup and cleanup; and perform related duties as assigned.
Education & Experience: To be eligible for this position, you must meet and provide evidence of the following minimum qualifications:
Graduation from high school or GED equivalent and one year of general work experience; OR An equivalent combination of training and experience
