Academic Physician - Interventional Pulmonary/Critical Care

The University of Chicago's Department of Medicine, Section of Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine is searching for a full-time faculty member at any rank. The appointee will provide patient care in the pulmonary outpatient clinic, and provide clinical coverage on the consult, inpatient critical care and procedure services including interventional pulmonary. Other duties will include teaching and supervision of trainees and students. Academic rank and compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) are dependent upon qualifications.
The Section of Pulmonary & Critical Care Medicine has nationally recognized research and education programs that build on collaborations throughout the University and is active in clinical operations and quality improvement in the Medical Center.
Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, 3) be BC/BE in Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine, and 4) have Interventional Pulmonary training.
