The Assistant Training Director reports to the Senior Associate Director of Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) and is responsible for the administration, planning and evaluation of an American Psychological Services (APA) Doctoral Internship Program.
The Assistant Training Director is also responsible for providing direct psychological services to UCSC students and the UCSC community as well as providing assistance to staff on the electronic health record system.
The Assistant Training Director is held to the highest ethical standards and legal mandates for mental health professionals in the state of California. It is the responsibility of the Assistant Training Director to provide management that supports the mission of CAPS.
