UNIVERSITY OF ALABAMA, Tuscaloosa, AL. The Department of Philosophy invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of Asst. Prof., beginning fall 2020. Undergraduate teaching with usual non-teaching duties. The philosopher hired will play an instrumental role in the Department's Jurisprudence Specialization. AOS or AOC: philosophy of law. Teaching competence in aesthetics, medical ethics, metaphysics or the history of philosophy is desirable. The philosopher hired will also be expected to teach courses in core areas of analytic philosophy. Ph.D. in philosophy should be completed by August 15, 2020.
