Position Description: The School of Engineering and Computer Science at the University of the Pacific invites applications for a full-time Lecturer, to begin in Fall 2019. The primary responsibility of this position will be teaching up to seven undergraduate courses per year. These courses will include introductory computer programming courses; other assignments are possible depending on experience. This is a full-time, benefit-eligible position. It is a potentially renewable appointment from one up to two years. This is a non-tenure track faculty position, with no expectation for research or scholarship. This position is located on the Stockton campus.
Basic Qualifications: Applicants must have a MS in computer science, engineering, or a closely related discipline.
Additional Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have experience teaching computer programming and a strong interest in undergraduate education. Excellent oral and written communication skills are essential.
