This position will work with Dr. Ding in the development of imaging techniques using Atomic Force Microscopy, single molecule spectroscopy and Coherent Raman Scattering Microscopy for in vivo and in situ characterization of plant cell walls, biomass degradation enzymes and microbes.
This positions is available for one year with possible renewal contingent upon satisfactory performance and available funding. Salary is commensurate with experience.
Requires a Ph.D. in Plant Biology or Microbiology Previous experience in molecular biology and analysis of large genomics data.
Experience in cellulase biochemistry and biochemical processes of biomass conversion to biofuels and biomaterials.
