General Description: A dynamic research laboratory in the Institute for Computational Medicine is seeking an individual to process and analyze genomic data from pancreatic cancer precursor lesions. The data assistant will run genomic analysis pipelines and software designed to model the evolution of these lesions into invasive pancreatic cancer.
Under the direct supervision of the Principal Investigator, the individual will use existing software programs to process raw genomic data so as to identify somatic alterations and model their time evolution.
Position requires extensive use of advanced computer systems.
Individual may also assist with special and related research projects and other tasks as assigned.
