Job Description Summary: Shoot and edit videos for Webster University's marketing and creative services department, primarily focusing on University recruitment and promotion. Shooting and editing videos for social media deployment and online distribution is an essential part of this position.
Minimum Qualifications Two years of professional experience; Experience in field videography and studio work with DSLR cameras and other video rigs; Experienced with Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, Adobe Audition, and other parts of the Adobe Creative Suite. Experience with posting and archiving video for web and social media distribution. College degree, preferably in photography or videography.
Preferred Qualifications Three years of professional experience. Expertise with multiple video editing platforms and digital audio editing software. Experience with a professional production house or news videography a plus.
Essential Duties Shooting videos for University recruitment and promotion. Editing videos for University recruitment and promotion. Assisting the Manager of Videography in the studio or on field shoots as the need arises. Mixing audio and preparing special effects graphics. Other duties as assigned in connection with marketing and creative services needs.
