Description Professional Billing Group (PBG) provides billing and collection services for approximately 900 UCD School of Medicine Faculty Physicians.

Qualifications REQUIRED -General accounts receivable (A/R) xperience desired; six months in a Medical Billing/Payment Posting position preferred -Intermediate to advanced 10-key data entry abilities -Ability to analyze Explanation of Benefits (EOB) from various payers -Good math skills and the ability to balance transactions
PREFERRED -Knowledge of the Epic system

Responsibilities The Patient Biller II is responsible for the timely and accurate processing of correspondence related to medical services provided by UCD School of Medicine physicians, posting denials and adjustments, clerical support and coordination of correspondence activity for PBG.
