Position Information This position will be hired at either the Senior Clinical Research Coordinator (Sr. CRC) or Clinical Research Coordinator (CRC) level depending of experience and education.
Salary Range for Clinical Research Coordinator: $25.78 to $41.45 Salary Range for Senior Clinical Research Coordinator: $31.27 to $50.31

Work location is in Marysville and Chico to support the UC Davis Health/Adventist Health relationship at the Adventist Health Rideout Cancer Center and the Adventist Health Cancer Care Clinic in Chico.
Required for Senior CRC: -Senior CRC must possess and maintain certification as a Certified Clinical Research Profession (CCRP) through SoCRA and/or a Certified Clinical Research Coordinator (CCRC) or Certified Clinical Research Associate (CCRA) through ACRP. -Senior CRC minimum two years of experience as a clinical research coordinator with demonstrated increasing level of responsibility.
Required for Senior CRC and CRC: -Knowledge and understanding of oncology and disease processes as applied to clinical research. Administrative skills and ability to exercise good judgment, initiative and resourcefulness in making decisions. -Analytical skills to evaluate information, practices and procedures, formulate logical and objective conclusions and make recommendations for effective solutions. -Working knowledge of federal & state regulations, GCP guidelines, HIPAA, institutional policies, and SOPs for conduct of human subjects research. -Demonstrate oral communication and interpersonal skills to effectively correspond with the general public, co-workers, physicians, patients, caregivers, clinic staff and other health care professionals. -Display organizational skills and attention to detail so that large volumes of records can be accurately maintained and workload priorities can be determined in an appropriate way to accomplish a task or goal. -Knowledge of basic anatomy, medical terminology and ability to interpret physicians' notes, medical records, laboratory and scan results.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENT -Occasional travel (between UC Davis, Marysville and Chico) as well as overtime will be required. -THIS POSITION MAY BE SUBJECT TO A CRIMINAL BACKGROUND INVESTIGATION, DRUG SCREEN, LIVE SCAN FINGERPRINTING, MEDICAL EVALUATION CLEARANCE, AND FUNCTIONAL CAPACITY ASSESSMENT
Responsibilities The Clinical Research Coordinator is a health professional having working knowledge of clinical research activities which include: regulatory/IRB preparation, development and negotiations of budgets, working with contracts, data management activities. Excellent communication skills and a willingness to cooperate as a team member are vital to the relationship with our partner sites in Marysville and Chico. The Clinical Research Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and following through in the overall administration and outcome of one or more clinical studies.
