Job Summary/Basic Function: Job Summary: The Enrollment Management Analyst is responsible for supporting the Financial Aid, Scholarships and Veterans Affairs Offices (SFAVA) with a variety of third-party systems, reporting applications and database. including, but not limited to, Ellucian CRM, Ellucian Banner Evisions Argos reporting solution, and Banner Document Management System (BDMS). The primary focus for this position be to support the functional user through administration, systems analysis, process development and technical support of the university's student information system. The Enrollment Management Analyst will provide troubleshooting and technical support for all Ellucian Banner systems as it relates to Financial Aid, Scholarships and Veterans Affairs.
Responds to request for complex queries from the college database system, gathers, compiles and performs initial data analysis; develops systematic documentation of computer applications written for the SFAVA offices.
Researches, analyzes, designs, sets up, test, verifies, and documents application processes, business rules, modifications and customization in functional areas, as required. Provide solutions to functional and technical issues as needed.
Assists end-users with the use and maintenance of look-up tables, batch jobs, population selection lists, and Discoverer reports.
Performs complex analytical and technical work in relation to various computer applications, databases, and systems.
Identifies and tracks functional area issues pertinent to system operations. Leads and facilitates functional area stakeholder discussions and drives leadership to consensus on appropriate issue resolution and long-term improvements.
Creates, implements, and maintains Integration of all SFAVA related functions of LU's student information system, including automated communication management and department specific information tools.
Meet with users and staff to determine the impact of proposed changes in hardware or software for users.
Researches and resolves Banner related issues from SFAVA including the submittal and tracking of Service Requests to Ellucian, setting up and testing new processes.
Counsels the Executive Director of Scholarships & Financial Aid on emerging technology challenges and opportunities with respect to the Ellucian Colleague system and other system tools to support the Financial Aid and Veteran Affairs functions.
Serves as a liaison to the College's Information Technology Department for all Financial Aid, Scholarship, and Veteran Affairs software, networks, and systems. Acts as a consultant to the Financial Aid, Scholarship and Veteran Affairs staff and IT staff regarding implementation of new mandates and policies from the Department of Education.
Manages the ongoing upgrades and testing of the financial aid management system within the College's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System.
Interacts and participates with Ellucian staff in such areas as the Texas Connection Consortium, and Banner Relationship Management
Supports other divisions within Enrollment Management, upon request.
Minimum Qualifications: Minimum Qualifications: Bachelors degree from a regionally accredited college or university Minimum of three years of related experience or at least ten years of directly related experience will be considered Capability to perform in a dynamic and team-oriented environment is essential Strong problem-solving skills Strong written, oral and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications: Preferred Qualifications: Strong functional knowledge of the Banner ERP System in the Admissions, Recruitment and/or Advising modules is preferred
