Job Summary: Under the supervision of the Director of Arts Education and Artist Engagement, coordinator will provide all aspects of logistical program support to the three-year Science, Humanities and Arts: Process and Engagement (SHAPE) project launching in July 2019. This will include working directly with, and in support of, the Director of Arts Education and SHAPE Steering Committee and assist in the dissemination of SHAPE Request For Proposals (RFP), support the review and selection of proposed courses and assist the selected instructors with logistics of course development, including providing liaison for the instructors with the performing artists participating in their course.
This is 38% appointment, 3-year contract position that will not convert to career position.
Physical Demands: Work at computer terminal for extended period of time.
Lift and move supplies and equipment weighing up to 40 lbs.
Work Environment: Driver's license required; occasional use of passenger van.
Occasional night and weekend work.

Minimum Qualifications: Must be reliable, prompt and able to meet deadlines and schedules.
High level of computer proficiency, including standard Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.). Familiarity with Google Docs is a plus. Photographic documentation experience helpful.
Experience in the performing arts.
Organizational, time-management, and information management skills to manage multiple priorities and to meet deadlines with attention to accuracy and detail.
Interpersonal and communications skills to effectively communicate and interact with a diverse population of faculty, students, staff and artists.
Experience with writing, proofing and preparing a variety of communication to ensure quality and effective communication.
