The Financial Crimes and Fraud Management Group (FC&FMG) is an enterprise-level body that strives to protect TD Bank Group customers, shareholders and employees from financial crimes and fraud. Aligned with TD's strategy and risk appetite, FC&FMG develops and evolves enterprise policies, advanced analytics capabilities and operational efficiencies to improve governance, oversight, and collaboration between fraud management and other control functions within the Bank.

NAFO operates in a wide spread arena, with 24/7 fraud detection operations
We are responsible for detecting a wide variety of fraud transactions, including Credit Card, Access Cards, ATM, EasyLine, EasyWeb, Cheques, Merchant Services and credit products
Our goal is to investigate these situations as quickly as possible to reduce the negative impact to the customer, and prevent, reduce and/or recover any losses
We conduct in-depth analysis of the files to identify current and potential trends and to prevent future losses
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Canadian Fraud Reporting, the Senior Analyst, will be instrumental in the creation of enhanced reporting capabilities within FC&FMG. As such, the role requires a self-starter with a passion for deriving informative insights from a variety of sources and reporting those insights along with other information in an easy-to-consume fashion. The reporting component of the role will require a solid understanding of, and familiarity with, typical bank middle and back office information processing systems. Equally important will be a deep level of comfort working in a fast-paced dynamic environment. Specific responsibilities include:
Creating net new fraud reporting, streamlining and improving existing reporting for various partner lines of business
Mapping available data for both operational and enterprise level reporting and building both manual and automated mechanisms for ensuring that data is retrieved and reported on a regular, repeatable basis. Develop and assist with the implementation of data related policies and standards
Interpret retrieved data to drive actionable business insights, and prepare and package those insights with a high degree of quality and consistency
Use solid analytical skills and knowledge of fraud trends to provide timely expertise, advice and guidance to business partners
Prepare monthly recurring reports and analysis and lead discussions on fraud matters with business partners
Experience in analyzing and commenting on business performance as it relates to fraud including data analysis identifying operational fraud trends and root causes
Conduct ad-hoc reporting, forecasting and analysis as required to support internal and external business partners
Provide expertise on systems functionalities like the creation of reports and ways to use and present visualized data effectively in reporting

Education and Accreditation
Undergraduate level education in Business / Mathematics / Economics or other quantitative discipline
Prior experience working in Fraud or Risk functions along with an analytical skill set is considered an asset
Advanced/Expert level of experience in all Microsoft Office products, and experience in programming languages is an asset (SAS, SQL, DB2)
Advanced / Expert level of experience in data visualization in reporting tools
Fraud accreditations such as CFE and knowledge of financial institution reporting systems are considered assets
