The Clinical and Translational Science Institute at the University of Pittsburgh is recruiting a qualified Mobile Team Manager for the All of Us PA Research Program. The Mobile Team Manager is responsible for providing support to the Precision Medicine Initiative, an NIH-funded initiative to enroll 1 million study participants across the US. The University of Pittsburgh is recruiting staff to support enrollment efforts in Pennsylvania - primarily in and around the greater Pittsburgh region and adjacent counties.
The position will also oversee the integration of the Pitt+Me Discovery program into mobile team events. Pitt+Me Discovery is a collaboration between the University of Pittsburgh and UPMC to support genetic research at the University of Pittsburgh. The incumbent will manage all activities related to the coordination and execution of "pop-up" enrollment events in multiple types of settings (i.e., medical offices, community centers, partner organizations) across the greater Pittsburgh region. This individual will oversee the logistics for multiple mobile teams including scheduling events, equipment management, and oversight of team leads (research coordinators) and research assistants.
The incumbent will regularly assess staffing needs and assign teams/staff to individual enrollment events. They will collaborate with other study program leads (recruitment, communications, IT, call center, etc.) and participate in program operations leadership meetings. This is a leadership position and requiring supervisory, organizational and excellent communication skills. Ability to interact and communicate effectively with the Senior Management Team, community physicians, research coordinators, research assistants, and other medical personnel. Will be responsible to ensure adherence to study protocol, and implementation of mobile enrollment events to support program recruitment goals and performance metrics.
