As a senior leader inProject Execution, you will lead high-performing teams in envisioning andcreating complex technology solutions across the firm. This prominent positioncombines strategic thinking - about industry trends, firm-specific initiatives andrelevant technology - with a deep understanding for how to develop andimplement programs that can be rolled out globally, and across multiple linesof business. You'll work closely with executive leadership across the firm toidentify and prioritize projects that serve the best interest of the entirefirm. Meanwhile, you'll ensure that your Project Execution colleagues have theresources and guidance they need to deliver timely and relevant solutions. This role will beresponsible to drive a number of concurrently running initiatives in line withthe roadmap for Asia, and provide status reporting into the global PMO. Primarily focus will be ensuring all workstreams align to the program objectives, such as requirements, software designand development, infrastructure buildout, partner systems dependencies,testing, rollout and client migration. The role will accountable to technology, business and operationsstakeholders for meeting committed scope and timelines, and tracking theproject expenditure against the budget.
This role requires a wide range of strengths and capabilities, including:
Expert knowledge in all business processes across an entire line of business, as well expertise in other lines of business and technology disciplines
Track record for managing high-performing teams on large and complicated programs.
Ability to create and support a collaborative culture that attracts, retains and develops top talent
Partner with Business and Operations stakeholders to govern scope and prioritization of system enhancements across the program
Manage the budget, costing and headcount across the APAC program
Work with project teams to deliver detailed end-to-end project plan and the rollup to program-wide plans
Monitor and track touch points across projects within the program
Engage the other regional programs to understand build leverage and factor in cross dependencies
Manage and report all program risks and issues, and work towards mitigation and/or remediation
Ensure the program meets internal control, audit and compliance requirements
Ensure Architecture alignment of delivery approach and completion of design artefacts
Engage the various AD teams - feature teams and component teams - are aligned with and committed to the delivery plans
Work with the UAT team on test strategy, scoping, data requirements, and track progress of test execution
Track all cross-impact partner teams to ensure they are aligned with the project plan
Work with Environment team to create a strategy on environment utilization across the program and sufficient availability across multiple concurrently running projects
Engage Infrastructure team on server or datacenter buildout where there are onshore hosting requirements
Organize and chair various program status update meetings
Provide timely status reporting including availability of accuracy of burndown charts
Manage escalations and promptly escalate where required
Expertise in working in partnership with colleagues throughout the firm, and in leading collaborative teams to achieve common goals
BS/BA degree or equivalentexperience
12 or more years of working experience in the bankingdomain with strong technical and project management background
7 or more years of ITProject Management experience including financial management.
Experience in runningcomplex in-house development projects with multiple interconnecting systems andinterdependencies
Experience in a globalorganization working with stakeholders in different geographies and time zones
