As a evening shift CT Tech at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, you will have working knowledge of current CT procedures, on multi-slice CT scanners, experience working on GE and Toshiba scanners a plus. Working knowledge in performing CT posts processing, vessel tracking and vessel analysis. Experience in a multi-disciplined imaging department preferred. Perform procedures on the neonatal, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric population with sensitivity and attention to the age and developmental issues of the patient population(s) being served. Maintains a positive attitude and promotes teamwork at all times. The Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist must demonstrate an understanding of human anatomy, physiology, pathology, pharmacology, and medical terminology. The Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist must maintain a high degree of accuracy in positioning and exposure technique. He/she must maintain knowledge about radiation protection and safety. They prepare and administer contrast media in accordance with state, federal and hospital regulations. They must remain sensitive to the physical and emotional needs of the patient through good communication, patient assessment, patient monitoring, and patient care skills. They maintain confidentiality of all pertinent patient care information to assure that patient's rights are protected. Ability to use professional and ethical judgment and critical thinking when performing their duties.
