This position is part of a fast paced and a high caliber Global Risk Technology (GRT) - Liquidity Risk & Stress Testing team to Develop and support a variety of applications for modelling and monitoring liquidity risk.
The Bank is looking to redesign and rebuild its core liquidity risk platform to make use of modern Big Data technology.
The candidate will be expected to effectively interact with various stakeholders as well as cross functional Development Teams, Business Analysts, Users, and Production Support groups.
The incumbent will have at least 5 years of leadership experience and 10 plus years of progressive IT experience with strong leadership and technical capabilities and must thrive on challenge,

Supports and leads a team of IT professionals (direct and indirect reports) and is responsible for systems analysis, application software, programming and support in addition to leading a team to provide
Technical direction, future planning and standard development practices.
Negotiates IT project requirements (i.e. deadlines, budgets, resources, etc.).
Manages communication with all areas of the enterprise that impacts the scope, budget, risk, and resources of the work effort being managed.
Builds and maintains a strong working relationship with peers both within technology and across our business lines.
Participates in budgeting processes and quality improvement activities for the department.
Accountable for managing assigned project and/or departmental budgets.
Meets scheduled milestones to ensure project/program objectives are met in a timely manner, are in compliance with IT Technology Roadmap and has an in-depth knowledge of the principles, theories, practices and techniques for managing the activities related to planning, managing and implementing software projects and programs.
In-depth knowledge of risk domain. Experience with liquidity market risk analytics, including LCR, Liquidity Stress-Testing, Earnings at Risk, Economic Value of Equity, Value at Risk (VaR), Risk Sensitivities and scenario analysis, is strongly desirable.
Extensive understanding of Bank balance sheet modeling, including fixed income, and derivative instruments, as well as asset and liability interest rate and liquidity risks; comprehensive knowledge of capital market products and lending operations
Leverage Organizations limit and policy structure, Internal liquidity stress-testing (ILST) framework, as well as regulatory, rating agency, and investor expectations to develop tools to optimize the required liquidity maintained at the legal entity level and drive shareholder value
Coordinate closely with corporate forecast and capital planning teams to ensure appropriate incorporation liquidity constraints in forecasted strategic actions and develop strategies to optimize liquidity
Maintain thorough understanding of the regulatory requirements and guidance regarding liquidity risk; drive appropriate plans and actions to ensure any gaps are addressed on a timely basis
Understand and assess the liquidity risk impact to new products and business strategies; Provide analytical support in establishing and calibrating new Board and Management liquidity limits, ALCO thresholds and/or early warning indicators to help manage liquidity risk.
Experience with Big Data Platforms and System Architecture.
Experience in software development experience ideally using Python, R or other data analytics language. Hands-on technical experience designing and working with Micro services, Cloud, and DevOps is required
Ability to understand requirements, read data mapping and work closely with BA to translate data into code
ETL experience (Nifi, Talend, Data Stage or related ) Development experience with Kafka or Elastic Search would be beneficial.
Experience with Agile development methodologies and project management
Possess excellent analytical and problem resolution skills.
Post-secondary education in Computer Science or Software/Computer Engineering or related technology field.
