Area of Specialization / Responsibilities The candidate is expected to perform research on epigenetic changes and their phenotypic effects of common human aneuploidies, including trisomy 21 (Down syndrome), trisomy 18 (Edwards syndrome) and trisomy 13 (Patau syndrome). The candidate will independently perform laboratory experiments to compare epigenetic profiles (such as DNA methylation, chromatin architecture, etc.) of the whole genome and selected genes between patient and normal control samples. He/she is also expected to correlate the epigenetic changes to specific phenotypes of affected individuals through bioinformatics and data/database analyses.
Laboratory experience of epigenetic analysis (such as DNA methylation analysis).
Experience of data and database analysis.
Excellent communication and writing skills.
With a doctorate degree with good medical knowledge (a medical degree is preferred).
