The Department of Radiology at the Hofstra/Northwell School of Medicine is recruiting THREE additional fellowship trained radiologists to join the Division of Emergency Radiology for either on-site or remote at-home coverage. Fellowship training in Neuroradiology, Body Imaging, or Emergency Radiology is preferred. Candidates should be comfortable with Stroke imaging. This is a full-time faculty position at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level.
The Emergency Radiology division at Northwell Health was created in 2011 and has rapidly grown to a group currently composed of 15 faculty members covering overnight radiology for the health system’s tertiary hospitals and expanding community hospital network. Candidates would be expected to work on a 7 night on, 14 days off schedule. Primary responsibilities for this position would include, but not limited to, diagnostic interpretation of imaging performed through the emergency department and urgent inpatient imaging including CT, US, MRI, and plain films, as well as, clinical supervision of residents at our tertiary sites.
