Participating as a member of the Intercollegiate Athletics' senior leadership team, the Executive Director for Human Resources and Strategies (ED) oversees staff personnel and payroll functions and serves as the principal consultant on all staff personnel matters.The ED works closely with leaders within the department to develop and implement comprehensive people strategies that enable the organization to attract, develop, engage, and retain top talent. The ED has direct impact on the department's success in developing a top national athletic program and enriching the education and personal growth of its students. The ED is client-centric and thoroughly understands both the client's strategic objectives and day-to-day operations, and builds trusting relationships with its leaders and staff. The ED builds strong partnerships, collaborates, and coordinates with the HR Partnership for Strategy and Innovation and Campus HR to ensure delivery of high quality, value-added services that align with Athletics goals. The position serves as consultant to leadership on strategic decision-making, including talent acquisition, organizational effectiveness, talent and performance management, leadership development and change management. The ED is accountable for all associated HR laws, policy, and regulatory compliance within scope of the position. The ED works in a university athletics environment, that of a Division I member institution, compliant with National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) rules and regulations.

Salary: Annual $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 Total Hours: 8-5, M-F Career Position. Final candidate subject to background check.
