The University of Pittsburgh School of Pharmacy is seeking candidates for a full time faculty position at the rank of Research Instructor (non tenure stream) in Dr. Venkataramanan's lab. The candidates must hold a PhD or equivalent degree and have at least five-years of research experience and publications in the area of Biopharmaceutics/ pharmacokinetics. Some teaching and mentoring experience in Pharmacokinetics is desirable. The candidate's research should be focused on performing in vitro, preclinical and clincial pharmacology studies. The candidate must have expertise in developing analytical methods for measuring drugs and metabolites in biological fluids, perform in vitro cell culture work and be able to perform PBPK modeling and simulations. The individual will be responsible for designing pharmacokinetic studies in pregnancy and organ transplantation.
