Under the general direction of Dr. Rhee and Dr. Kalantar, the incumbent carries out sophisticated statistical analysis on several large renal and chronic disease databases. The incumbent uses a variety of statistical software programs, including SAS and STATA, to perform complex analyses. Refine, merge, and routinely update large and complex data sets and corresponding codebooks. Produce written documentation of programming/analytical tasks. Use established guidelines, design and/or select (from pre-existing material) and assemble/correlate informational content into database. Prepare tables and graphic presentations of data which communicate information effectively. With the data, manuscripts are prepared for publication as well as posters and oral presentations for both national and international conferences.
