The Department of Logic and Philosophy of Science anticipates possible temporary positions for Lecturers for the 2019-20 academic year. These positions usually become available as unexpected needs arise shortly before the start of a quarter. Positions are generally for one quarter at a time, at varying percentages, depending on the number and nature of courses assigned.
Applicants must have completed a PhD, experience teaching courses in general philosophy of science and /or philosophy of math, and have good teaching record. Apointments may be effective (Fall Quarter) October 1, 2019; (Winter Quarter) January 1, 2020; (Spring Quarter) April 1, 2020
