The Department of Chemistry invites applications for adjunct faculty positions to teach introductory general chemistry lab sections on the Minneapolis campus in the fall 2019 semester, with the possibility of additional assignments in the spring 2020 semester.
Lab sections meet once per week for three hours. Available sections for the fall 2019 semester meet on Thursdays from 8:00 am - 11:00 am and/or on Thursdays from 1:50 pm - 4:50 pm. Instructors are expected to respond to student inquiries via email and hold regular office hours.
This is a union position which is covered by a collective bargaining agreement with SEIU Local 284.
Candidates must hold a Master's degree (or higher) in chemistry, a Ph.D. is preferred. Previous teaching experience is preferred but not required.
