Reporting to the Director of Undergraduate Admission, the Admission Data and Communication Specialist will demonstrate the ability to accurately and consistently input, maintain, create, and track all application related materials and student record-level data in the departments CRM (Salesforce), while producing and organizing admissions communication and reports. The successful candidate must have a willingness to learn and the desire to relate effectively and efficiently with students, faculty, administration, staff, and the public. The highest level of custom.er service is expected and knowledge of the policies and procedures of the Office of Admission and the college required. Attention to detail, effective "Written and oral communication skills are a must, and an enthusiasm to work in a team-oriented environment essential. Occasional evening and weekend work required.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The statements below are intended to describe the principal duties of the person or persons assigned to this job. 1. Prepare, enter and process all inquiry, application and admission related documents to the CRM 2. Direct workflow and communication-flow to prospective students and applicants 3. Coordinate 'paperless" operations - scanning, linking and overseeing document imaging enterprises for all admission records 4. Update, edit and process admissions communication campaigns via the CRM 5. Maintain data integrity to ensure accuracy and confidentially 6. Assist with the supervision of student admission ambassadors 7. Utilize other integrated and non-integrated technologies (email, text, phone and print) and track student interaction and behavior with these communication channels in the CRM 8. Collaborate with the Information Technology Team, the Common App and others to maintain and develop necessary functionality and bridges to the CRM and others campus systems such as PowerFAIDS and PowerCampus 9. Monitor department's multiple inboxes. text platforms, chat features and event registration pages and forms to ensure timely response and data integration with the CRM 10. Review and update record-level data through imports and exports 11. Research and reconcile data discrepancies, and utilizing the CRM and other tools to effectively deliver timely communications to prospective students and related constituents 12. Provide direct service and support to admission staff related to admissions database systems 13. Resolve and/or assist in the resolution of problems and/or complaints and initiate corrective action as appropriate. 14. Participate on department and college committees as required 15. Other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED BY THE JOB: Minimum Education level: Bachelor's degree required
• Proficient with Microsoft Office suite • SalesForce, Power Campus, and various CRM applications a plus • Familiarity with Perceptive Software (Image Now) or related document imagining experience • Strong organizational skills required • Experience in higher education or non-profit a plus
