Responsible for developing, implementing and executing appropriate assays required for the advancement of high priority projects, as well as for the company’s product engine in our efforts to discover novel medicines to treat inflammatory-mediated diseases, including autoimmune diseases. Job duties include the following: development and implementation of a diverse set of cellular immunology, biochemical and metabolic assays used to support lead discovery; design and execution of experiments used to validate and identify potential drug targets as well as analysis of data; effective communication of results and conclusions; and participation in planning and troubleshooting of experiments to support project goals.
Must have MS in cell or molecular biology, pharmacology, biotechnology or related field. Must have 2 years of hands-on drug development experience in immunology, including the following: flow cytometry assay development; in vivo mouse models; ELISA; blood cell isolation and/or culture; communicating across project teams; and managing project timelines. Will also accept a BS and 5 years of experience.
