To provide prenatal and preconception genetic counseling services to patients and their families; to educate care providers, residents and medical students about clinical genetics and its utility in patient care; work across specialties to assist with integration of genetics and genomics into patient care.
MS degree from an accredited Genetic Counseling Program
Board certified or board eligible
Experience preferred, but not required
Ability to work independently and as part of a team to optimize patient care
Strong communication skills
Customer service oriented
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to work under stressful conditions and in difficult situations
Ability to perform job functions outside of building at different clinic sites
