Petrocelli College of Continuing Studies is seeking a candidate for a Lecturer Position in the Natural Sciences. The candidate will be responsible for teaching introductory courses in Chemistry, Biology and other interdisciplinary areas (life sciences etc.) within Undergraduate programs at Petrocelli College. A candidate with Interdisciplinary experience in the Natural Sciences or Life Sciences is preferred.
M.S. or Ph.D. in Biology, Chemistry or related discipline
Experience teaching introductory Biology and Chemistry classes at a college level
Hands-on experience handling lab experiments in both disciplines Employment is contingent upon a satisfactory background check. Candidates for hire will be required to sign a waiver authorizing the background check and produce a Social Security Card.
Enthusiasm for teaching Biology and Chemistry to college students
Inter-disciplinary life sciences or natural sciences experience preferred (Pharmacology, Biotechnology, Pharmacy etc.)
Some teaching experience in applied technology fields desirable;
